A Little about Faeries

A faery (fairy) is a variety of supernatural being endowed with the powers of magic and enchantment. Belief in fairies has existed from earliest times, and literature all over the world has tales of fairies and their relations with humans. They are generally humanoid in form, though of a higher spiritual nature and so possess supernatural abilities, along with such mystical qualities as otherworldly beauty and grace, an ethereal glow, wings, or the like. They are also regarded as aloof, ephemeral, and whimsical, among other qualities that place them outside of a human scope and have a tendency to make them associated or confused with other mythological creatures.

Fairies were frequently supposed to reside in a kingdom of their own—which might be underground. Everywhere there is a plant, it is said there is a fairy. You can bring fairies into your life by bringing living flowers into your house. Fairies are responsible for taking care of every form of vegetation on earth.

If you grow indoor potted plants of any kind, you have fairies in your house. A few potted plants from your local grocer placed in our lovely ceramic fairy cups can make an indoor fairy garden. A small amount of stones can be placed at the base of the cup before a plant is placed inside it. Put in a sunny window, and invite fairies into your home!.
